Happy Thursday, look what we’ve got on the blog for you today.. our pot noodle bride Leela has stunned us with these beautiful, artistic images. A stripped back, edgy shoot showcasing elite stockists based in the Yorkshire area. These images are going to help with the mid-week hump and get you super excited about your wedding planning.
Want to know what we LOVE about this shoot? For us, it’s all about how Leela is wearing the dresses, the colouring of the images looking like pieces or art and the flowers being SO dramatic. The photos are so stripped back, it’s lovely to see the intricate details in the fabric, the perfection of Leelas look and how the photographer Tim Dunk has caught movement within still images.
The shoot was taken at the amazing new wedding venue Wharfedale Grange, strategically based between Leeds and Harrogate, in West Yorkshire. Leafy Couture supplied the dramatic floral arrangements for the photo shoot, you can also find them based at the entrance of Wharfedale Grange. We LOVE how Leafy couture has created such dramatic flower displays, just shows you if you have a stripped back look at your wedding, the flowers can be a huge statement piece for the big day. We feel like Leafy Couture has taken us to the 1920’s with their flower arrangements, they ooze sophistication.
The photographer Tim Dunk not only oozes ‘coolness’ but shows us how to make your wedding pictures look like you’ve thrown lots of money at your wedding, with a touch of fancy edits. One of our favourite images ..
Leela is wearing dresses from The Bridal Emporium, based in Leeds city centre and the dress suppliers are the British brand Eliza Jane Howell and American brand Watters. Owner Claire Amelia took her baby girl Florrie Rae on set to the shoot, where Tim captured some super cute images behind the scenes, we had to include these in with the editorial! The Bridal Emporium shop is perfect for the relaxed brides to be, who love the bohemian, modern and fashionable styles.
Natalie Willingham make up artist was on set with her makeup skills, keeping the look fresh and sophisticated. With a sleek back look hairstyle and a natural look with modern styling, we think Leelas look totally offsets the style of the shoot. Sometimes less is more. Get yourself a cuppa tea and admire the full shoot..
We’re loving these images and if you are too, make sure you check out the suppliers ->
